So when they defeated the warriors, I had the two sharpshooters yell orders to each other in goblin (which one PC speaks). One said "let's go to the hexer (I added a goblin hexer to the excavation room) and the other said "ok, I'm certainly not going the other way" indicating towards the door leading to the crypts.

I also had perception checks indicate lots of small-sized foot traffic to the northwest and east, but only occasional medium-sized foot traffic towards the crypt.

The result? The party went to the northwest anyway, even though I was trying to encourage them to clear out the excavation area first! It worked out OK, b/c I had Balgron the Fat retreat to the excavation area for a final stand.Lucky Adrastusnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1991833568800031158.post-8883802326271363892009-04-23T11:27:00.000+10:002009-04-23T11:27:00.000+10:00That's odd. Did you add a level of description above what's in the module, possibly setting out what sounds come from behind the various doors?Greg Tannahillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00823898295759037081noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1991833568800031158.post-28435615314249844862009-04-12T07:35:00.000+10:002009-04-12T07:35:00.000+10:00Interesting. I've run it three times and none of the groups ever went northwest first and many of them went northwest last.

Almost all of them went east and encountered the goblin excavators and the caves.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
